Mentoring from Diaspora

BABA is often contacted by people in Africa who are looking for help with their programmes. 

If they do not become members, it is possible that their projects are allowed to pass by. I am not sure this is the right solution. 

The question is how do we handle these applicants?

As a thought, I wonder whether we can identify people in diaspora, from the local area who may know the applicant, the family or the area. In this case the Mentor could be in diaspora and the Project...

As a thought, I wonder whether we can identify people in diaspora, from the local area who may know the applicant, the family or the area. In this case the Mentor could be in diaspora and the Project Owner in Africa.  The mentor can then evaluate the proposition, establish that the proposition is valid and then help the Project Owner to develop their idea, opportunity and business.
